Jazz – Vanguard's Shady Blues - has a wonderful temperament and disposition. Her whole body wags as she greats you smiling! A non-stop full throttle attitude!!...But around the house Jazz will happily curl up on the couch and watch TV or self-entertain, she's independent but easily one of the sweetest dogs you'll meet. Jazz had a number of field trial placements as a puppy/derby, and is now being broke to compete in gundog stakes. She is actively being campaigned in agility by Ruth in the off season. While she is pretty and sweet she's also a bird freak!! At six months old she was standing her birds till flush and shot!! Her groundspeed, bird drive and style on point make her exciting to watch. Jazz is probably one of my favorite dogs to go to when you just can't seem to find birds. Her tenacity, endurance, and intelligence form a package that's just beautiful to watch work a field. Jazz is OFA Excellent. We continue to progress towards bigger and better things and look forward to some late spring fun in the field working towards more titles.

Ben – Vanguard's Beer Money – is our newest boy. Affectionate, quiet and my ride or die buddy. The long hours driving to trials he sits watch, riding shotgun in the truck. He's our daughters constant shadow. And while working at night he’s content to hangout in my office watching me work. Everything the Vizsla temperament is supposed to be, he is. Ben will start running broke dog stakes this fall. He was by far one of the easiest dog’s we’ve ever broke. From a very early age he’s wanted to stand his birds thru flush and shot… a natural! Bidable, eager to please, front running and he loves to find birds. Ben is OFA Excellent on his hips. Starting this fall will be working towards his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship titles, and Ruth has him in the show ring as we can.

This will be a Dual Potential litter, with a strong emphasis on natual ability. Ben and Jazz bring together a fantastic combination in temperament, personality, bidability, talent and pedigree. We feel that Ben and Jazz pups will be successful in any venue, field and/or home.

Ben's hips OFA certified EXCELLENT and Jazz's hips OFA certified as EXCELLENT; both dogs have been DNA'd. This litter will be registered with AKC and nominated for the Midwest Vizsla Futurity.
